Vote to approve an Ordinance Amendment to remove the Fire Inspection Fee Schedule (Chapter 93, Appendix B and Section 93.09 of the Chatham County Code of Ordinances)
Abstract
Introduction & Background: County Budget and Permitting Staff determined that Fire Fees in Appendix B are also in the Adopted Budget.
Discussion & Analysis: It is recommended that Appendix B be removed as it is redundant.
Amend Title IX, Section 93.09 to read as follows:
(A) Fees for fire prevention inspections required by this code shall be determined by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners. The fees are set forth in the approved Fiscal Budget.
No other amendments are recommended to the Ordinance at this time.

Budgetary Impact: There is no budgetary impact at this time, this ordinance amendment is correcting redundancy of these fees.
