Vote to approve and present a Proclamation declaring April 2024 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Chatham County
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Since 1972, Prevent Child Abuse America has defined the national approach to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Throughout the month of April, Prevent Child Abuse America and the state chapters are building a narrative of hope for children and families through collaboration and the creation of an ecosystem of primary prevention.
Recommendation/Motion: Motion to approve and present a Proclamation declaring April 2024 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Chatham County.
