Abstract
Vote to accept $10,811 in additional funds for ARPA Public Health Workforce Development NCDHHS funds from Guilford County to support staff development and training needs and purchase equipment for programming.
Introduction & Background: Each local health department region in North Carolina received ARPA funding to strengthen local public health infrastructure. Guilford County Health Department serves as the lead for Chatham’s region and manages this funding to support regional efforts. This is additional funding on top of the initial allocation to purchase equipment for public health programming and support staff development.
Discussion & Analysis: The additional funding will be used to purchase a demo car seat for the car seat safety check program, support the electronic medical records system transition, offer staff training, and purchase hardware and software to support public health programming.
