Action Requested: Receive FY2022 First Quarter Budget Update
Introduction & Background: This update provides a category level overview of General Fund expenditures and revenues for the first quarter of FY2022.
Discussion & Analysis: The category level overview provides a “snapshot” of the County’s budget picture for the first quarter. This update compares the first quarter of the current fiscal year to the first quarter of the 3 most recent to give an overview of our current budgetary standing. Additionally, this update will attempt to explain any budget abnormalities.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: The FY2022 Operating Budget includes funds that further the goals within the Comprehensive Plan. This update does not have a direct impact, but does discuss funds that help to further the goals of the Comprehensive Plan.
Budgetary Impact: None. This is an informational presentation to update the Board of Commissioners on the state of the FY2022 Budget as of the end of the first fiscal quarter.
