Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve a lease agreement with Moncure Volunteer Fire Department Inc. in the amount of $40 and authorize the Board Chair to execute the agreement.
Introduction & Background: This is part of the approved CIP radio system upgrade project. The County is collaborating with Moncure Volunteer Fire Department to place one of the new radio towers on their property at the fire station.
Discussion & Analysis: The County is signing a 40 year lease with Moncure Volunteer Fire Department to have the radio tower on their property. This is the average lifespan of a radio tower. The cost will be $1 per year, payable in full at execution of the lease.
