Action Requested: Vote on a request to appoint Shamilla Godfrey to the Chatham County Housing Authority
Introduction & Background: Joan Burton is retiring from the Chatham County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. Ms. Burton is recommending Shamilla Godfrey to fill her seat as the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Resident on the Board. This appointment will satisfy the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirement for a resident to serve on the Board. Ms. Godfrey’s term will expire September 17, 2022.
