Abstract

Action Requested: Vote on a request to accept $84,834 COVID-19 Crisis Response Epidemiology-Public Health Preparedness & Response Funds

 

                     

Introduction & Background: On March 6, 2020 the President of the United States signed into law the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2020 (P.L. 116-123) (Coronavirus Supplemental).  This Act provides funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

                     

Discussion & Analysis: This Activity is for the Local Health Department to work to prevent, prepare for, and respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) by carrying out surveillance, epidemiology, laboratory capacity, infection control, mitigation, communications, and other preparedness and response activities.
