Vote on a request to reappoint Taylor Hobbs to a second term on the Chatham Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

 

Abstract

Action Requested: Vote on a request to reappoint Taylor Hobbs to a second term on the Chatham Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

                     

Introduction & Background: Mr. Hobbs, a local architect, was appointed to the EDC board in January 2015. His first term expires October 31, 2019. A reappointment would give him a new term that ends October 31, 2023.

                     

Discussion & Analysis: Three EDC board members are appointed by the Chatham County Board of Commissioners. Two appointments follow a majority election year (Hobbs and Ferri) and one follows a minority election year (Platt).

 

Taylor Hobbs - Original Appointment 1-20-2015 - End of Term 10-31-2019

Mark Ferri - Original Appointment 4-16-2017 - End of Term 10-31-2020

Jennifer Platt                     - Original Appointment 4-16-2017 - End of Term 10-31-2021
