Receive introductory presentation of the Unified Development Ordinance by project consulting firm CodeWright Planners LLC.
Introduction & Background:
The Board of Commissioners approved the recommendation from the Unified Development Ordinance Selection Committee to award the Unified Development Ordinance contract to Code Wright at their April 15th 2019 meeting. The Contract was awarded and signed by the County Manager July 8th 2019. Document review has begun and Principal, Chad Meadows from CodeWright Planners LLC will be presenting an introductory presentation.
Discussion & Analysis:
The introductory presentation’s purpose is to establish a common background and understanding of the project. CodeWright Planners LLC will give an introduction of the consultant team, provide an overview of the project, and initial goals. Also provided will be a preview of project website, branding, and next steps.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan:
The completion of the Unified Development Ordinance is the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan and supports all 10 goals.
