Action Requested: Approve amended project ordinance as proposed by staff
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is an amended project ordinance for the Agriculture Center project. The project ordinance has been amended to reflect ending project balances. The project will be closed at fiscal year-end and any remaining balances transferred back to the general fund.
Budgetary Impact: The project budget for the Agriculture Center project totals $15,047,467.
Recommendation: Motion to approve amended project ordinances as proposed by staff.
