Abstract

Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve appointments to the Board of Commissioners’ Election Task Force

                     

Introduction & Background: At its March 16, 2018 meeting, the Board of Commissioners voted to form a task force to look into the possibility of expanding the Board from five to seven members.  The Board voted the task force would be made up of three Democrats, three Republicans, and three Unaffiliated voters. 

                     

Discussion & Analysis:  After a three week application period, thirty-four applications were received.  The commissioners have all been forwarded the applications.  Together the commissioners will make the nine appointments.
