Action Requested: Vote on a request to accept $6,472.86 NACCHO Retail Program Standards Mentorship Program Funds
Introduction & Background: Chatham County Public Health Department Environmental Health was selected to participate as a mentor local health department in the NACCHO Retail Food Program Standards Mentorship Program. This community collaboration program is focused on building capacity for integrating the FDA Retail Food Program Standards at local health departments.
Discussion & Analysis: As part of the funding Environmental Health was able to send three staff members to the National Environmental Health Association conference and purchase other outreach materials.
Budgetary Impact: No Local Funding Requested
