Abstract
Action Requested: Award the Employee of the Quarter Award to the Foster Care Unit at the Chatham County Department of Social Services.
Introduction & Background: The Foster Care Team helped over 300 children and families in 2016 by providing Christmas gifts. This team has and does work hard each year to make sure that they provide for hundreds of kids in Chatham County. They have organized, shopped and worked countless hours to make sure that every kid is taken care of at Christmas. This team goes above and beyond every day of the week; however, at Christmas, they put their own schedules of shopping and celebrating aside with their families until they have met the meets of all of their foster children.
