Abstract
Action Requested: Motion to not reappoint Clyde A. Kepley III as the appointed tax collector and tax assessor for Chatham County.
Introduction & Background: The Board of County Commissioners is responsible for the appointment of the tax assessor (N.C.G.S. §105-294) and tax collector (N.C.G.S. § 105-349). Every two years. Clyde (Kep) Kepley was appointed in June 2015 and is up for reappointment.
