Action Requested: Vote on a request to adopt Ordinance Concerning the Chatham County Agriculture Center.
Discussion/Analysis: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects. The attached project ordinance for the Chatham County Agriculture Center Project reflects an amendment that allows the County to use the remaining loan funds on debt service for the Ag Center and Bus Garage.
Budgetary Impact: The amended project budget for the Agriculture Center totals $15,045,496.
