Introduction & Background: The primary mission of the Communicable Disease Branch is to reduce morbidity and mortality resulting from communicable diseases that are a significant threat to the public through detection, tracking, investigation, control, treatment, education, and care activities to improve the health of people in North Carolina.
Discussion & Analysis: Agreement Addendum Revision #3 provides additional funds for the Local Health Department to provide additional STD prevention training to its staff in order to assure high quality patient care.
