Action Requested: Vote on a request to accept $7,975 NACCHO FDA Retail Food Program Standards Mentorship Program Grant Funds.
Introduction & Background: Chatham County Public Health Department Environmental Health was selected to participate as a mentor local health department in the NACCHO FDA Retail Food Program Standards Mentorship Program. This community collaboration program is focused on building capacity for integrating the FDA Voluntary Retail Food Program Standards in local jurisdictions.
Discussion & Analysis: As part of the funding Environmental Health plans to send two staff members to the National Environmental Health Association conference and purchase other outreach materials.
Budgetary Impact: No local funding requested.
