Introduction & Background: The primary mission of the Communicable Disease Branch is to reduce morbidity and mortality resulting from communicable diseases that are a significant threat to the public through detection, tracking, investigation, control, treatment, education, and care activities to improve the health of people in North Carolina.
Discussion & Analysis: Agreement Addendum Revision #2 reduces funding to the Local Health Department due to the anticipated reduction in the CDC grant that funds the North Carolina STD Prevention Project.
Budgetary Impact: No Local Funding Requested
