Action Requested: Vote on a request to accept $2,560.57 NACCHO Retail Program Standards Mentorship Program Funds.
Introduction & Background: Chatham County Public Health Department Environmental Health was selected to participate as a mentor local health department in the NACCHO Retail Food Program Standards Mentorship Program. This community collaboration program is focused on building capacity for integrating the Program Standards at local health departments.
Discussion & Analysis: As part of the funding Environmental Health was able to send two staff members to the National Environmental Health Association conference, send one staff member to the Conference for Food Protection bi-annual meeting, and purchase other outreach materials.
Budgetary Impact: No local funding requested.
