Vote on a request to approve the final policy for the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center
Abstract
Introduction & Background: The Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center(CCACC) leadership team has presented key portions of the policy to the Commissioners on two occasions, the last being a budget work session in May 2016. The policy has now been finalized and is ready for Commissioner approval. The major updates to the policy include revising provisions for insurance, the alcohol policy, and qualifications for catering services. An inclement weather clause has also been added.
As the CCACC becomes fully operational, amendments to the policy may be necessary and will be presented to the Board of Commissioners at that time.
