Award 2024 Employee of the Year to Adam Gaines, Assistant Director of Emergency Communications and Chance Mullis, Assistant Planning Director

 

Abstract

Introduction & Background: The Employee of the Year recognition program was created to acknowledge and express appreciation for outstanding accomplishments made by County employees. Awards are commonly awarded to employees who demonstrate outstanding customer service, leadership, teamwork, workplace safety and/or process improvements and efficiencies and more. 

 

Nominations are accepted during the month of October and will be reviewed and voted on by the Chatham County Workforce Development Committee (formerly known as the Personnel Committee) during their November meeting. Recipient(s) of the Employee of the Year Award are presented their award at the Chatham County Board of Commissioner meeting in December. All regular full and part-time employees are eligible for this award.

 

Details of the nomination will be attached separately. Nominations will be read by the HR Director unless the supervisor wishes to speak.

                     

Discussion & Analysis: Presentation will be given at the December 16, 2024 Board of Commissioners meeting.
