Action Requested: Vote on Request to approve the contract with Brightly Software Inc. and authorize the County Manager to approve the contract.
Introduction & Background: Brightly Software Inc. formerly Dude Solutions is a Software Company that created a database for Solid Waste and Recycling staff to enter records for decal renewals, policy acknowledgement forms, illegal dumping, and incidents at the collection centers.
Discussion & Analysis: In previous years, this has been a yearly renewal. The County will renew the SmartGov Connector and SmartGov License for an additional five (5) years. Renewing for five years gives us a discounted yearly renewal rate when compared to annual renewals.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: become more resilient by mitigating, responding, and adapting to emerging threats.
Budgetary Impact: The license renewal is included in the operating budget.
Recommendation: Vote on Request to approve the contract with Brightly Software Inc. and authorize the County Manager to approve and execute the contract to commence on July 1, 2022.
