Vote to adopt the Goldston Library Renovation Amended Project Ordinance
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is the proposed amended project ordinance for the Goldston Library Renovations. This project ordinance amendment is necessary due to increases from drawing changes made during the architect’s work to get permittable drawings that were inadvertently omitted from the previously approved change order.
Budgetary Impact: The budget is being increased by $14,903 to a total of $648,327 and will be funded by donations from the estate of Mr. Jimmy Goldston.
Recommendation/Motion: Motion to adopt the Goldston Library Renovation Amended Project Ordinance.
