Introduction & Background: This is a request to approve the resolution for the addition of 0.108 miles Cardinal Ridge Road, 0.192 miles Cardinal Ridge Road, 0.034 miles Mallard Landing Drive, 0.115 miles Mallard Landing Drive, 0.248 miles Hawk Point Road, 0.213 miles Quarter Gate Trace, 0.191 miles Quarter Gate Trace, 0.052 miles Old Spring Road, 0.050 miles Wild Indigo Way in the Briar Chapel Subdivision.

How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: The Chatham County Comprehensive Plan calls for a thoughtful, diverse, and resilient roadway system to serve the county. In the state of North Carolina, the transportation planning process is heavily dependent upon the State of North Carolina’s Department of Transportation for guidance, maintenance of county roads, and long-range transportation plans. Cooperating and continuing a positive relationship with North Carolina Department of Transportation is crucial to the future development of Chatham County’s Road system.
