Action Requested: Motion to adopt the proposed Western Intake and Plant Project Ordinance
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is a proposed new project ordinance for the Western Intake and Plant project. The ordinance reflects current estimates presented in the FY2022-2028 Approved Capital Improvements Program.

Budgetary Impact: The budget for the Western Intake and Plant project totals $2,385,030 and will be funded from the water capital reserve
