Abstract
Introduction & Background: National 4-H Week is celebrated annually during the first full week of October to recognize the positive impact that 4-H has on youth, families, and communities across the nation. Administered through Cooperative Extension, 4-H is the largest youth development organization in the United States, providing hands-on learning experiences that help young people develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills. Chatham County 4-H engages local youth through educational programs, community service projects, agricultural learning opportunities, and leadership development activities. The proposed resolution recognizes National 4-H Week and acknowledges the contributions of Chatham County 4-H members, volunteers, families, and Cooperative Extension staff.
