Vote to adopt a resolution supporting Operation Green Light for Veterans
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Operation Green Light is an initiative endorsed by the National Association of Counties and the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners to encourage communities to illuminate courthouses and other government buildings green in honor of veterans and draw attention to the needs of veterans in a number of service areas.
Discussion & Analysis: The Historic Courthouse will be illuminated green for the period November 1-11 in honor of veterans.
