Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve $3,131 Child Health Grant Funds
Introduction & Background: The Healthy Mothers Health Children Program is increasing the funding by a total of approximately $2.2 Million across three programs: the Maternal Health Program, the Family Planning Program, and the Child Health Program. These additional funds will enable the local health departments to provide additional services based on locally determined needs and circumstances.
Discussion & Analysis: The Chatham County Public Health Department will provide or assure preventative and sick care for non-Medicaid children birth to 20 years of age.
