Vote to approve an a contract amendment with Frank L. Blum Construction for an increase in the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Parker’s Ridge Park construction project
Abstract
Introduction & Background: We received a credit from Stewart Engineering (Designer of Record) and wish to add that credit to the Frank L. Blum Construction contract to replenish the owner contingency. This will increase Blum's GMP for the project but will not increase the overall cost of the project.
Discussion & Analysis: We received a $55,249.50 credit from Stewart Engineering. We would like to apply $55,249 to replenish the owner contingency with Blum Construction, who is the Construction Manager at Risk for the Parker’s Ridge Construction Project.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: This project relates to the County’s comprehensive plan objective be providing recreational opportunities and access to open space.
Budgetary Impact: There is no budgetary impact.
