Vote to designate Mike Reitz and Jody Picarella as agents of Chatham County authorized to apply for FEMA financial assistance under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.

 

Abstract

Introduction & Background: In order to apply for disaster public assistance funds the County must designate a primary and secondary Applicant’s Agent that will be authorized to execute and file applications for Federal and State assistance on its behalf. The resolution designates Mike Reitz, Emergency Communications Director, as Primary Agent and Jody Picarella, Deputy Finance Officer, as Secondary Agent.

                     

Budgetary Impact: No budgetary impact.

                     

Recommendation/Motion: Motion to designate Mike Reitz and Jody Picarella as Applicant’s Agents and authorizing them to execute and file applications on behalf of the County for Federal and State Assistance under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.
