Abstract
Introduction & Background: The Goldson Public Library expansion project began in the fall of 2025 which was made possible by legacies of the estates of Jimmy Goldston and Virginia Hester, including architectural fees paid by the Friends of the Goldston Library.
The expansion includes adding 2,020 square feet to the existing building, expanding the children's area with an additional story time room, extra shelf space for children and teen materials, and additional staff arrangements. The remaining funding for the expansion is dedicated to furnishing the space.
