Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve Chatham Transit Network contract for Social Services for the fiscal year 07/01/2015 to 06/30/2016
Introduction & Background: The above listed contract is necessary for the Chatham County Department of Social Services to carry out specific functions related to program administered by the Department. In order for the Department of Social Services to be able to dispense funds and claim reimbursement for funds expended for this contract, valid contract covering the current fiscal year must be in place.
Discussion & Analysis: In order to conduct the agency's business in a manner that meets federal and state standards, helps clients achieve satisfactory outcomes, and meets community expectations, Chatham County Department of Social Services must contract with an array of providers. The contract listed above is necessary and essential for the agency to properly conduct business FY 15-16.
Budgetary Impact: Contract is covered by a line item in the budget for FY 15-16. No funds are being requested.
