Action Requested: Vote on request to approve updated Chatham County Utilities Standard Specifications for Waterlines and Drawings.
Introduction & Background: Chatham County Utilities standard specifications were last updated in May 2006. NCDENR and the Public Water Supply Section recently made the County aware of specifications that need updating.
Discussion & Analysis: State and regulatory policies have changed. County standards need to be updated to reflect these changes, maintain compliance, and to ensure that our specifications are not in conflict with current County policies. The updates will also allow for a more organized set of standard specifications and drawings.
