Introduction & Background: In-rem tax foreclosure (G.S. 105-375) is an expedited legal process where a county or municipality places a judgment on a property and sells it at public auction to recover delinquent taxes.
Discussion & Analysis: Chatham County shall retain Attorney to provide legal and administrative services for in-rem foreclosure proceedings on delinquent real property taxes due to the County.

Budgetary Impact: None; foreclosure cost is recovered at the time of sale.
