Abstract
Introduction & Background: This contract is for yearly maintenance of the emergency dispatch protocols and associated products used by the Emergency Communications Center (ECC). The ECC currently uses emergency medical dispatch (EMD) and emergency fire dispatch (EFD) and emergency police dispatch (EPD) protocols.
Discussion & Analysis: The ECC uses protocols for processing medical, fire and police calls for service, using an internationally accepted system for standardization and life safety.
