TITLE

ABSTRACT

 

Action Requested:

Hold a public hearing to permanently close a portion of Jack Bennett Road Right of Way as a result of NCDOT Condemnation for Safety Realignment and adopt an ordinance permanently closing said portion of right of way as described within exhibit A of attached Ordinance.

 

Introduction & Background:

The Board of Commissioners adopted a Resolution of Intent to set a public hearing for October 19th, 2015 to permanently close a portion of Jack Bennett Road Right of Way as a result of NCDOT Condemnation for Safety Realignment. Closing of the public right of way must follow NCGS§153A-241.
