Vote to approve the amendment to the American Rescue Plan Funds Grant Project Ordinance
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects. Now, with identified projects for the American Rescue Plan Funds, this updated grant project ordinance will provide the budgetary authority to spend a portion of these funds.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is an amended grant project ordinance for the American Rescue Plan Funds project. The ordinance reflects changes approved by the Board of Commissioners and updates to the ordinance as required by the grant.

Budgetary Impact: The budget for the American Rescue Plan Funds Grant project totals $14,464,924 and will be funded from the American Rescue Plan.
