Vote to appoint Marisol Hydock as the District 5 Environmental Review Advisory Committee member with a term expiring June 30, 2026

 

Abstract

Introduction & Background: The Environmental Review Advisory Committee advises the Chatham County Board of Commissioners on environmental policy and related county ordinances, and it serves as the Chatham County Watershed Review Board.

 

The committee has ten (10) voting members, with each county commissioner having two appointments each and one At-Large member. Members should have expertise in at least one of the following areas: Botany, Soil Science, Toxicology/Air quality, Governmental Agency (including university) Environmental Planning (including GIS experience; AICP preferred), Environmental Law/Land Use, Attorney, Water Resources/ Professional Engineer, Biology and Agriculture.

 

Discussion & Analysis:

Commissioner Gomez-Flores would like to appoint Marisol Hydock to the Environmental Review Advisory Committee with a term expiring June 30, 2026.

 

Commissioner Delaney is reviewing applications for the District 3 vacancy.
