Abstract
Introduction & Background: Ms. Nikia Jefferies, a member of the Board of Commissioners, Chatham County Housing Authority, is resigning from the Chatham County Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners. Ms. Jefferies is currently not eligible because she no longer works or lives in Chatham County. The Board is recommending Ms. Thompson, a resident of Siler City, who has expressed an interest in serving on the Board. Ms. Thompson, works in the community and has volunteered with CCHA community events. The Board recommends that Ms. Thompson be appointed to fulfill Ms. Jefferies’s remaining term.
