Vote to approve a contract with Salesforce for the purchase of three Tableau software licenses
Abstract
Introduction & Background: The Chatham County Public Health Department would like to purchase three Tableau software licenses, at the cost of $2,000 total, from the company Salesforce for data visualization and analysis needs.
Discussion & Analysis: The Salesforce end-user license agreement has unclear end dates, therefore this contract and purchase must receive approval from the Board of Commissioners. These licenses will be used to improve how the Health Department analyzes, communicates and shares local public health data with community partners and the community.
How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: Plan Goal #10: Foster a healthy community.
Budgetary Impact: No Local Funding Requested. We will use state Infrastructure funds.
