The recommended fiscal year 2024-2025 Chatham County budget was presented to the Board of Commissioners on Monday, May 6, 2024 and has been available for public inspection on the Chatham County website and in the office of the Clerk to the Board, located at 12 East Street in Pittsboro.
Discussion & Analysis: Whereas North Carolina General Statute § 159-12. (b) requires before adopting the budget ordinance, the board shall hold a public hearing at which time any persons who wish to be heard on the budget may appear.
