Abstract
Action Requested: Approve the recommended revisions to the Advisory Committee Policy & Addendum
Introduction & Background: The Advisory Committee Policy was updated by the Board of Commissioners on September 21, 2015. However, the board asked that we bring back some language to clarify that committee members should vote on all issues unless there is a compelling reason not to do so. Proposed language has been added on page 7 under Section 8 (Voting).
Addendum A also needs to be revised to include the newly created Climate Change Committee. The changes are shown in red on pages 1-2 of the Addendum. The language comes from the agenda item approved at the Nov. 16, 2015 Commissioners Meeting.
Discussion & Analysis: These revisions will keep the Advisory Committee Policy and Addendum up to date.

Recommendation: Approve the revisions as recommended.
