Abstract
Introduction & Background: The county owns and operates seven radio towers for the public safety radio systems it uses and operates for all public safety agencies in the county, as well as the school system and other stakeholders in the community. These critical infrastructure radio towers must be inspected every five years to ensure they remain in compliance with industry standards. The latest inspection identified areas which need to be addressed to ensure the compliance, safety and longevity of the towers.
Discussion & Analysis: Engineered Tower Solutions will perform the needed remediation at each of the towers. They are the engineer and tower vendor of record for the State of North Carolina VIPER radio division.
