Action Requested: Vote on a request to adopt the County’s Continuing Disclosure Policy in compliance with continuing disclosure obligations under SEC Rule 15c2-12
Introduction & Background: The SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) made changes to continuing disclosures in February 2019 with Rule 15c2-12. The County has not issued a public borrowing since that time.
Discussion & Analysis: With the current public borrowing, staff is requesting commissioners to adopt a continuing disclosure policy. The Continuing Disclosure Policy will serve as a guide for the County to facilitate compliance with its continuing disclosure obligations in accordance with Rule 15c2-12.
