Abstract

Introduction & Background: N/A

Discussion & Analysis: This is a request to approve the road resolution revision for the addition of 0.31 mile Gentry Drive, 0.31 mile E. Antebellum Way, 0.15 mile W. Antebellum Way, 0.10 mile Cotillion Way, 0.05 mile N. Julip Court, and 0.05 mile S. Julip Court in the Pennington at Lake Jordan Subdivision, Plat Book 2016, Page 16 and 17.

How does this relate to the Comprehensive Plan: The Chatham County Comprehensive Plan calls for a thoughtful, diverse, and resilient roadway system to serve the county. In the state of North Carolina, the transportation planning process is heavily dependent upon the State of North Carolina’s Department of Transportation for guidance, maintenance of county roads, and long-range transportation plans. Cooperating and continuing a positive relationship with NCDOT is crucial to the future development of Chatham County’s Road system.

Budgetary Impact: N/A

Recommendation/Motion: Motion to adopt a resolution for the NCDOT Road Additions for Pennington at Lake Jordan Subdivision.
