Vote on a request to approve $2,606 Immunization Action Plan Funds

Abstract

Action Requested: Vote on a request to approve $2,606 Immunization Action Plan Funds.

Introduction & Background: Federal immunization funds provided to the health department are designed to support immunization activities outlined in the 715 Immunization Activity Plan.  These activities assure that individuals are age appropriately immunized, and reduce the occurrence of vaccine-preventable diseases.

Discussion & Analysis: These funds give the option to the health department to accept the funds after March 31, 2016 or to decline the funds.  Acceptance of funds will not change the scope of work and deliverables of the current Agreement Addendum.  Funds must be spent or encumbered by the end of the service period, May 31, 2016.  All expenditures must be reported by the liquidation date of June 30, 2016, and the funds must be used in accordance with the guidance outlined in the SFY 15/16 Agreement Addendum for activity 715.

Budgetary Impact: No Local Funding Requested.

Recommendation: Vote on a request to approve $2,606 Immunization Action Plan Funds.
