Presentation on Options for Henry Siler School

UNC Development Finance Initiative (DFI) will present background on the school and what options the county has for this building moving forward. Currently, it is vacant and, although we have taken steps to stabilize the building, we should move forward with a decision on what to do with the building.
Last March, staff presented several options for moving forward. That presentation is attached.
Since the Board’s direction to contact the food West Chatham Food Pantry and Becoming One Community Enrichment Center, the board has established affordable housing and affordable rental housing as a priority. Western
