Action Requested: Appointment of Review Officers.
Introduction & Background: G.S. 47-30.2 requires the Board of County Commissioners in each County, by resolution, to appoint a person or persons as Review Officer to review each plat before it is recorded and certify that it meets the statutory requirements for recordings.
Discussion & Analysis: Effective April 20, 2015 Amy W. Moore and Bill Harris in the Chatham County Tax Office, are hereby appointed and Margaret Goldston in the Chatham County Tax Office, is hereby reappointed to perform all responsibilities as required for Review Officer under the appropriate North Carolina General Statutes, and is further given the authority to delegate these duties to any other qualified employee as may be necessary to administer these duties in his/her absence.

Recommendation: Staff recommends that Amy W. Moore and Bill Harris be appointed and Margaret Goldston be reappointed as Review Officers.
