Vote to adopt a project ordinance for the Agriculture and Conference Center Phase II
Abstract
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is the proposed project ordinance for Phase II Development of the Agriculture and Conference Center as described and approved in the County’s 2027-2033 Capital Improvement Plan.
Budgetary Impact: The budget for Phase II Development of the Agriculture and Conference Center is $6,334,801 and will be funded by transfers from the Capital Reserve.
Recommendation/Motion: Motion to adopt a project ordinance for the Agriculture and Conference Center Phase II.
