Action Requested: Motion to adopt the proposed Parkers Ridge Park Project Ordinance
Introduction & Background: Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina states that a project ordinance shall be adopted by the governing board for all capital projects.
Discussion & Analysis: Attached is a proposed new project ordinance for the Parkers Ridge Park Project. The project ordinance reflects the total estimates presented in the FY2023-2029 Approved Capital Improvements Program.
Budgetary Impact: The budget for the Parkers Ridge Park Project totals $6,001,885 and will be funded from a mix of grant funds, coal ash funds, and Article 46 revenues.
